Mysteries from the Hankinson Attic: A Jones?

My plate has been too full the past few days and so, I have not had time to work up the next biographical post.  I hope to get to it soon.  Until then, here is another old photo from the attic in Hankinson, N.D.

No identifying information.  I'm wondering if maybe he is one of the Welsh Joneses, an ancestor of John R. Jones.  But at this point, that is just a guess.
