This letter is from Warren Stilwell (age 13) to his sister, Minnie (Mary Elva Stilwell, age 9) with an additional note from their mother, Mary K. (White) Stilwell to her son-in-law, Frank Munn, husband of Celia Blanche (Stilwell) Munn.
Others mentioned: "Grandma" would be Betsey White, mother of Mary K. (White) Stilwell. I don't know who "Heattie" might be, but if it is "Nettie" then that is Annette (Stilwell) Osborne, one of Warren and Minnie's sisters. "Hannah" is another Stilwell sister. And "Lonson" is Mary K.'s husband and the father of Warren, Mary E., Blanche, Hannah, etc.

My dear Sister
I
received your kind letter last evening and was very glad to hear from you. We are having bad weather now. Grandma has been worse for the last two or
three days and has been living up in the front chamber. Heattie [? might be Nettie?] and Mother have been cleaning
house tearing up carpets painting &c.
Ask Frank how his boil gets along.
I am glad you have got such a nice pair of shoes and I think Frank is
very kind and generous to help pay for them.
I am glad to hear that you are enjoying your self so well. Edie says she would like to see you very much
and would like to hear from you. Tell
Frank that we received the sugar all right and it is very nice and we are very
much obliged for it. Tell Blanche that I
am much obliged for that letter she wrote me.
Father says you must have your picture taken just as Frank and Blanche
wants to have you and look pleasant and not look as sober as you did the other
time. I must close with much love to all
I am
your affectionate Brother Warren
Dear Frank
Hannah’s
school bill will soon become due will we don’t like to trust the money in a letter If you will please ask them to wait until
Lonson goes after Hannah or if you can as well as not pay them and Lonson will
pay you when he sees you also for Minnie’s pictures if you will just pay for those Lonson
will make all right. You was kind of a
naughty boy to send so much sugar if you had sent us one or two cakes we should
have thought it a good present. We are
very thankful nevertheless. Mother
