Mysteries from the Hankinson Attic: A Hankinson, ND Wedding

This photo is another that came from the attic of the John R. Jones family home in Hankinson, ND.  There is no identification on it at all, but it is obviously someone's wedding photo.  Don't you love the bride's head gear?

  1. We could guess that this is a son or daughter of John R. Jones.
Harold and Mary Carol never married.
Margaret married in Dr. John Hoffman in Canton, China (they were missionaries) - so this is probably not their picture.
    Could be:
John S. m. Leita Perry in Chicago in 1928
Edith m. Emil "Bill" Born (in Hankinson?) in 1928
Dan m. Alice Olson (in Richland County, ND?) in 1927
If there are photos of John S., Edith, and/or Dan for comparison, that might provide a clue.
I looked at the Navy photo of John S., and I don't think that the wedding photo is of John S.
I posted a photo of Edith's husband Emil "Bill" Born on my Evan W. Jones Family Tree, and I am not sure if the wedding phots is of Bill and Edith.

  2. It is not John S and Leita. That I am fairly sure. I don't know if I have a pic of Dan or Alice. If it is a John R. Jones child, I'd go with Dan. But that is a guess. There are lots of pictures in the box that don't seem to be direct family.
