It is a small book - about 4"x6" and very fragile and coming apart. We think it belonged to Mary Jane (Wysong) Nearon (1878-1958). She was the wife of William O. Nearon and mother of Treva and Willard Nearon. Treva was my husband's grandmother.

Its recipes are interesting to read and there are a number of old clippings of recipes from the 1940s. One has an add for a Red Skelton movie on the back: "I Dood It" from 1943.
Also tucked into the book was a pamphlet from the Wescott Carriage Company in Richmond, Indiana from 1899.
The Wescott Carriage Company closed in 1909 and became the Wescott Automobile Company.
