Well, for all my good intentions, I have still not been able to do regular blog posts and for that, I am sorry. Maybe after the holidays? I can only hope. Anyway, here is a short post so that you will see I am still out here!
The following postcard was sent to John S. Jones, Hankinson, North Dakota from Mrs. J. M. Smith and postmarked Green Bay, Wisconsin on 24 December 1913.
Here is a transcription of the message: "Dear John: I Hope you arrived home safely & know that you are having a good time with your family but I just want to say A Merry Christmas to you. Lovingly Mrs. J. M. Smith."
Here is my post on John S. Jones.
I don't recognize "Mrs. J. M. Smith." I did a quick search but did not turn up any J. M. Smith in Green Bay, Wisconsin ca 1913.
