More Hankinson Attic Photos:

"Ethel Jones on rt age 1 year"

 My Jones reearcher friend, Ray, says Ethel is the daughter of William Louis Jones and his wife Julia Jacobson.  Ethel was born in 1903 and died about 1916.  So this photo was taken about 1904.  Ethel had an older brother, Harry Evans Jones, 1898-1970, so I suspect the boy in this photo is Harry.

Evan Morgan Jones

 Evan Morgan Jones was the brother of John R. Jones.  He was born 28 June 1858 in Neenah, Wisconsin and died 7 April 1917 when he was shot by Fred Meske.

"Kolberg, Minneapolis"  The photographer was Lee Brothers, Twin Cities.  No other identification.

 These three snapshots of a home are only identified as being in Minneapolis, Minn.  No other information.  Notice, however, the old car.

Marycarol Jones identified this one as "Mrs. Jacobson; she made hats; Hankinson, ND."

"John R. Jones, Jr. (a cousin of John R. Jones, Sr.) and his wife, Bertha, Hankinson, ND"

 A quick search shows this couple in Hankinson on the 1910 - 1940 censuses.  They were married 1 July 1886 in Chicago.  Bertha's maiden name was Lange.  They had a daughter, Jesse, born 13 Oct 1886 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and another daughter, Elsie.

"Mrs. Laura Kenny, a friend of Kitty Jones"

I found Laura E. Kinney, wife of Eugene, on censuses in Hankinson, ND.  She was born August 1863 in Maine.
