Louise Phelps is identified on the Hankinson attic photos as the daughter of J.R. Jones' bookkeeper. I found what must be her family in the 1930 census for Hankinson, ND: father, Clyde S. Phelps, is shown as working in a lumberyard, so that fits. Mother's name is either "Tehra" or "Thyra". Louise was born March 4, 1906 in Richland Co., ND. She is probably the Louise Phelps who married a Mr. Shank and died in California in 1987. I cannot be sure since the information on Ancestry is marked private.
